Refund policy

Returns & Refunds

We want you to be happy with your order. This policy sets out when you can return items, when you can cancel, and how refunds work. It applies alongside your statutory rights as a consumer, which it does not affect.

Coffee & Perishables

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds on coffees, teas or other perishable goods. This exemption is permitted under both UK and EU consumer law, as these goods are liable to deteriorate quickly.

If you receive the wrong items or your order is missing something, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we’ll put it right.

Clothing & Print-on-Demand Items

All clothing is printed on demand and made to order. Because these items are made to your specification, they are exempt from standard cooling-off rights under both UK and EU consumer law, and we cannot accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind, wrong size, or other non-fault issues.

If your item arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund.

Non-Perishable Goods

Returns for non-perishable items such as brewing equipment, mugs and accessories may be considered, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Please contact us before returning anything.

Coffee Subscriptions

When you start a coffee subscription, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of setting it up, without giving a reason. This cooling-off period applies to the subscription contract itself, not to each individual delivery. Where coffee has already been delivered to you during this period, we may charge for the goods actually supplied.

After the initial 14 days, you can cancel your subscription at any time in line with your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect from your next scheduled order.

Your Right to Cancel (UK & EU)

If you are a consumer in the UK or the European Union (including the Republic of Ireland), you have the right to cancel certain orders within 14 days, without giving a reason. This right applies under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the EU Consumer Rights Directive (as amended by Directive (EU) 2023/2673).

For one-off purchases of eligible goods, the 14-day period runs from the day you receive your goods. For subscriptions, the 14-day period runs from the day your subscription is set up. Where you have received deliveries during the cooling-off period, we may charge for the goods actually supplied to you.

If you are an EU consumer, you can start a cancellation at any time during the withdrawal period using the withdrawal function on our website: withdraw from contract here. UK customers can contact us to cancel. After cancelling goods, you have a further 14 days to return them to us, unused and in their original packaging. You are responsible for return postage, and we will issue any refund due within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return.

This right to cancel does not apply to perishable goods (including coffee and tea) or to items made to your specification (including our print-on-demand clothing), as these are exempt under both UK and EU consumer law. It does apply to coffee subscriptions and to other eligible non-perishable, non-personalised goods.

How Refunds Are Issued

Where a refund is due, we issue it to your original payment method within 14 days. For cancellations of physical goods, we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of return, whichever is earlier.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights in relation to goods that are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. If something is wrong with your order, contact us and we’ll make it right.
