Combining three beans; Colombia Excelso Medellín, Nicaragua Finca La Bastilla P3, and Brazil Santos - this medium-dark roast offers bold flavour, smooth balance, and the perfect focus fuel for tackling deadlines.

The Colombia Excelso Medellín brings vibrant acidity and red fruit notes, while the Nicaragua Finca La Bastilla adds depth with sweet and earthy undertones. Brazil Santos completes the profile with smooth body and comforting nutty chocolate flavours.

Altitude:
Grown at 1,200–1,800m, ensuring a slow maturation process that enhances the bean’s complexity.

The Process:
Washed (Fully Washed) - this method removes the coffee cherry’s outer layers before drying, producing a clean, crisp cup with bright acidity.

Nicaragua Finca La Bastilla, P3

The Varietal:
A mix of Caturra, Castillo, and Typica, known for their balance and vibrant flavours.

Type:
Washed Arabica

The Farm:
Grown at Finca La Bastilla, a renowned estate in the Jinotega region, known for its commitment to quality and sustainability.

Altitude:
Cultivated at 1,200–1,450m, where the cooler climate allows for slow ripening, enhancing sweetness and complexity.

The Process:
Washed (Fully Washed) – carefully processed to remove the outer layers of the coffee cherry before drying, resulting in a clean, balanced cup with bright acidity.

The Varietal:
A mix of Caturra, Yellow Catuai, and Red Catuai, celebrated for their smooth body, rich chocolate notes, and subtle fruit undertones.

Brazil Santos

Type:
Natural Arabica

The Farm:
Sourced from the renowned coffee-growing regions of São Paulo and Minas Gerais, where Brazil’s rich soil and ideal climate shape the beans’ unique profile.

Altitude:
Grown at 800–1,200m, a lower elevation that results in a smoother, less acidic coffee with a full-bodied mouthfeel.

The Process:
Natural (Dry Processed) - The beans are dried inside the cherry, allowing them to absorb natural sugars and develop deeper, sweeter flavours.

The Varietal:
Primarily Bourbon and Mundo Novo, prized for their nutty, chocolatey notes and velvety finish.

Grind Types

Our grind types correspond to different coffee brewing methods, each requiring a specific grind size to optimise extraction. Each grind size affects the coffee's flavour, body, and extraction rate making it crucial to match the grind to the method for the best results. Here’s how they differ:

Espresso
A fine grind, similar to table salt, designed for high-pressure extraction. Produces a rich, concentrated shot with a creamy crema. Best for espresso machines.

Pour-over (Filter/V60/Chemex)
A medium-fine to medium-coarse grind, depending on the method. V60 requires a finer grind, while Chemex needs a coarser one. Delivers a clean, bright, and aromatic cup.

Cafetière (French Press)
A coarse grind, resembling sea salt, ideal for immersion brewing. Ensures a full-bodied, rich cup with minimal sediment.

Aeropress
A medium-fine grind, slightly finer than filter but coarser than espresso. Allows for versatility in brewing styles, producing anything from a clean filter-like cup to a strong, espresso-style shot.

Stovetop (Moka Pot)
A fine grind, but slightly coarser than espresso. Ensures balanced extraction under lower pressure, delivering a bold, rich coffee with a thick mouthfeel.

Whole Bean
The freshest option, allowing you to grind coffee to your preferred size for any brewing method. Ideal for those who value freshness and control over extraction.
